Ron Sonntag Public Relations, Inc. was formed in 1980 to fulfill the marketing and PR needs of southeastern Wisconsin businesses and events. Throughout its more than 40-year history, the company has grown and evolved with the technology of the times, while never losing its original goal. RSPR is devoted to each client’s particular needs, developing unique plans that combine traditional marketing methods with digital tools, advertising, and media relations that deliver results.
Ron Sonntag
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Ron Sonntag formed RSPR in 1980 and served as president until 2010, then moving to chairman and CEO. Ron serves as account supervisor on several agency accounts and assists with a variety of agency clients, developing and implementing public relations plans, publicity campaigns, marketing and advertising plans, and related PR and marketing activities. He also assists in coordinating new business efforts for the company and for years has been asked to give his seminar, "PR and Marketing on a Limited Budget."
Ron has a master of arts in communications degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor's degree in radio and television from the University of Houston. He also served an internship at the United Nations in New York in the Office of Public Information. Ron is the father of two sons, each of whom has two children. Ron was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and enjoys golf, tennis, canoeing, hiking, bowling, dancing, and classic '50s-'60s music. He lives in Menomonee Falls with his wife Sally.

Madeline Zukowski
Senior Writer/Publications Coordinator
Madeline Zukowski joined the RSPR team in 2023 as the agency’s senior writer/publications coordinator. Her responsibilities include media relations, writing for a number of different clients and mediums, and overseeing the production of magazines managed by RSPR’s Blue Water Publishers.
Madeline earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Creighton University and a master of arts degree in corporate communication from Marquette University. Her hobbies include reading, golfing, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. She resides in Brookfield.

Eric Johnson
Advertising Sales Management
Eric Johnson, joined the firm in February 2017. His responsibilities include advertising sales for the various magazines the company publishes and working with the advertisers to keep ad material current and organized.
After 35 years in global logistics management and sales, Eric is enjoying this new opportunity in the magazine publishing arena.

Patty Johnson
President & Chief Operating Officer
Patty Johnson joined RSPR in 1985 and became president and COO in 2010. Besides handling administrative functions for the firm, she is liaison for many of the firm’s clients, developing marketing plans and assisting with projects including public relations campaigns, newsletters, brochures, special events, advertising, and logo and website design.
A major portion of her career has been devoted to public relations and marketing programs involving the prosthetics and orthotics field. As a result, RSPR has earned a nationwide reputation for its expertise in the field of orthotics and prosthetics and its public relations efforts on behalf of practitioners across the country. Additionally, she and RSPR staff members were instrumental in the design, development, and production of three national magazines for a disability audience – CHALLENGE, In Motion, and Amputee Golfer.
She also coordinates marketing and sponsorship for a variety of special events. Patty handled Downtown Denver’s A Taste of Colorado marketing and promotion for 32 years. She also has been involved for consecutive years in the production and promotion of other area special events.
A 1983 graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Patty has a degree in communications. She and her husband, Eric, live in Muskego.

Kandi Korth
Office Manager
Kandi Korth, administration/finance and office manager, is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, payroll, and timekeeping, as well as editorial support services.
Joining Ron Sonntag Public Relations in 1988 as a high-school co-op student, Kandi was quickly promoted to secretary/receptionist and eventually to her present position. She has three children and two grandchildren, and she resides in Brookfield.

Nick Ryan
Web Developer
Nick Ryan joined the RSPR team in 2023 as the agency’s web developer. His duties include website maintenance and security, e-newsletters, content updates, and site builds. He enjoys working closely with each website and finding ways to make improvements. Nick’s passion for web development and learning brings in fresh ideas in this ever-changing industry.
Before starting in web development, Nick was in the kitchen service industry for 12 years. He worked in many different positions throughout that time including lead line cook, supervisor, sous chef, and head chef. During his free time, he freelanced web and graphic design before deciding to change his career path.
Nick earned an Associate of Applied Technologies in Front-End Web Development from Waukesha County Technical College. He was presented with the Front-End Web Development Program Award, as well as the WCTC Grit Award. He enjoys reading, writing, playing board games, performing with his band, and going to the movies.

Dave Amoroso
Vice President
Dave Amoroso, who joined RSPR in 1998, serves as the agency’s vice president. With nearly 35 years of public relations and marketing experience, Dave works with a variety of agency clients in developing and implementing public relations plans, publicity campaigns, marketing and advertising plans, and related PR and marketing activities. He also assists in coordinating new business efforts and helping small businesses gain market share and visibility.
Dave has significant experience in working with home improvement-related businesses, conducting media relations, as well as special event planning and production. He received both his Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a specialization in public relations and his Master of Arts degree in journalism from Marquette University. He and his wife, Ellen, have two married children and two grandchildren, and they reside in Wauwatosa.

Lindsay Schultz
Account Executive and Social Media Coordinator
Lindsay Schultz, account executive, joined Ron Sonntag Public Relations in January 2006 as an intern. In her current position, she writes news releases, promotional copy, newsletter and feature articles, blog posts, and other communications.
She coordinates client social media management and advertising, website optimization, and search engine advertising. Lindsay also provides support in media and mailing list development, news release distribution, media relations, layout and design, and research for a wide variety of clients.
She has a bachelor’s degree in writing and advertising from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. She lives in Jackson with her husband and their three children.

Pam Clemons
Graphic Designer
Pam Clemons started with RSPR in 2023 as the agency’s graphic designer. She has more than 30 years’ experience in all areas of design, specializing in print and digital content for corporate branding, advertising, and publications.
At RSPR, Pam completes the layout and design of the several magazines produced by RSPR each quarter, along with a variety of marketing materials for clients, including product sheets, digital marketing graphics, and logos. She also develops website designs and print advertising layouts.
Pam earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and a Web Design Certificate from Waukesha County Technical College. She has four children and lives in New Berlin.
